On the other side of the veil, a brilliant oasis flourished. Caribbean green pools speckled the landscape, their water deeply tinted with a gold hue. His camel had already begun quenching its thirst, hopefully, this meant the water was maintained to drink. Regardless, it wasn’t as if he had a choice in the matter, this was the only water in 500 miles. He crouched down by one of the pools and began to drink. The water was almost sweet, and as he drank, he felt a deep sense of ease enter every cell of his body. His vision began to change very subtly and he felt as though he could see the invisible connections of the world around him. He felt as though, perhaps, he could influence these unseen connections, the sap that flowed through these waters seemed to be the key.
