In a financial emergency, you are unable to withdraw your staked ETH in Eth2 until at least Phase 1.5 is ready.

Electricity bills may shoot up significantly.

Connection issues or error with validator setup may lead to loss of ETH

A solo staker may not be able to compete with large staking pools, resulting in zero returns.
