The unit commonly used for Gas Price is Gwei. Where does the term Gwei come from?
*
Gwei refers to Geth-Wei, a unit for calculating gas that is native for all Geth clients.
Gwei refers to Giga Wei or 10^9 Wei. Wei comes from Wei Dai, a cypherpunk and creator of b-money, a predecessor of a member of Bitcoin.
Gwei refers to Grand Wei or 1,000 Wei. Wei comes from Wei Dai, a cypherpunk and creator of b-money, a predecessor of a member of Bitcoin.
Gwei is short for Get weighted ether input
How will gas price behave differently under EIP 1559?
*
Block gas limits will increase by at least 2x.
The price of gas will rely on oracles provided by the community such as Etherscan's Gas Tracker.
Block gas limits will be reflexive based on the amount of transactions submitted above the base price.
The base gas price for any block is calculated at the protocol layer, based on the gas price of transactions in preceding blocks.

Assuming ETH = $3,500 and Gas Price = 40 Gwei, how much will a regular transaction fee (to send ETH to a normal/EOA address) cost in $?
*
$3.30
$8.88
$13.37
$2.94
Why might this error message come up? “Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas]”
*
An error occurred with contract execution, but the VM (Virtual Machine) continued executing functions until the transaction gas limit became exhausted.
The gas limit set was too high, causing the transaction to not fit into a block.
The sender did not provide a high enough gas limit.
Gas price set by the sender was too low and the transaction was rejected by the block's miner.
