Monterey Motel is a photograph that explores the idea and concept of how we define a neighborhood. Being one of Albuquerque's first motels along Route 66, this location has been the place of many stories and communities over the years. The idea of a neighborhood stems from a group of people forming a community, and what better was to challenge that idea than to view a location such as the Monterey Motel as an ever revolving neighborhood for decades now.
