Traditional imagery of twins can involve depictions and representations of otherness, exotica & curiousness, which can be problematic because often twins are questioned and compared against one another. As a twin myself, I used an autoethnographic methodology to challenge these generic depictions of twins. Subsequently, I created a neoteric and emancipatory method of portrayal, for an ongoing series that aims to celebrate and document this most fascinating of familial relationships.
