Gold medallions were awarded to the command and control members of Operation Compass. Part of the elite Emporium armed forces reserve, the Vanguard are tasked with safeguarding all Protocol bases and other protocol related support tasks. This medallion was awarded to a member of the Tutela, a Vanguard detachment responsible for security in all Protocol-run bases and sites.
