Her mother, who raised her alone, has always been her biggest inspiration and role model. Her wavy hair and bright pink lips are an homage to her mother who always treated her to a piece cotton candy on the walk home after art class every week. Sugar can always be spotted wearing a pair of messy paint-splashed overalls but she proudly dons her gold necklace, a family heirloom said to carry the strength of all the women that came before.
