Description
Bomb Story: Even though Adam Bomb was finalized as a vector design on Adobe Illustrator, the soul of our art and the overall brand comes down to writing and hand-drawing. Scribble Adam is a nod to the pen and pencil roots that ground The Hundreds.| Background Story: Horizontal stripes, especially of the yarn-dyed variety, are a staple of The Hundreds' collection. Earlier on, they were derived from the surf knits and beachgoer patterns that graced the backs of Californians in the 1980s. Examples include Hang Ten, OP, Quiksilver, and Gotcha. In the following decade, independent skate brands and rave companies capitalized on stripes across boxy, baggy tops. Whether they're fatter stripes across neighborhood-sanctioned Charlie Browns or pinstripes across suiting or a baseball jersey, The Hundreds' stripes speak to a spectrum of subcultures.
