The Terminus Event really came to a head in 81 CC, when temperatures didn't rise above freezing anywhere in the world for an entire corporate cycle. Before that it had been extremely difficult, but there was always hope that somewhere, sometime, things were better. That cycle was the blow that cut the world's hope right off our shoulders.
