"Blue Lake Divers" is a new addition to the March 2023 version of the WENDOVER NFT collection, originally published in the October 2021 photo book. I woke up before sunrise to drive out to Blue Lake, Utah, having been informed that there was going to be an underwater scuba diving Easter egg hunt. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph something so wonderfully bizarre. I set up my tripod looking down the boardwalk away from the lake, and took a few photographs of divers walking in and out. These two gentlemen were kind enough to let me stop them for a quick portrait. I love how out of place they look in wet scuba gear, standing out in the desert, void of context.
