Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time, officially left the court on April 16, 2003. To commemorate the 20-year anniversary, I present a moment captured at one of MJ's final games as a Washington Wizard, sporting his famous #23 jersey. I was invited to come to one of his last games in D.C. to bring my camera courtside after our request to photograph Michael in a studio was not possible. The game was a win for the Wizards, and MJ's greatness was still shining all over the court. My Canon F1 and Kodak Tri-X 400 film were pushed to the limit, and the other photographers next to me were curious about me shooting film and not having a 600mm lens. For me, all that mattered was capturing my moment with the GOAT.
