Sandra Bartocha Born 1980 in Germany. As a nature photographer and author, her goal is not to document the real world that is visible and known at first glance, but rather to depict the fleetingness of the moment, the beauty of the subtle, the personal interpretation and abstraction of seen moments. She is vice-president of the GDT - Gesellschaft für Naturfotografie, editor-in-chief of the magazine Forum Naturfotografie as well as author of various publications, including the textbook “Fotoschule in Bildern“, “Naturfotografie“ and the highly acclaimed illustrated books “LYS - An Intimate Journey to the North“ and “Rhythm of Nature“. Bartocha's images regularly win prizes in international competitions such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year and the International Photography Awards and are presented in exhibitions in museums and galleries throughout Europe. She was part of the pan-European project “Wild Wonders of Europe“.
