“Fuck About Fuck” When the idea of Real Vision was dreamed up by Raoul, Damian, Grant, and Remi, they quickly realized that – well, they didn’t really have any idea how to go about making finance videos. The expression “we know fuck about fuck” summed up exactly that. They didn’t know how to do it, but also figured that was maybe their strength – that they were not going to do it like anyone else. That thought was only strengthened when they went to the industry and the experts and asked for advice and were told: it's gotta be two minutes long at the most - ideally 60 seconds, 30 seconds, because no one's got the attention span anymore. And you need to broadcast feeds. You need to be paid for by advertising. And Real Vision began doing basically the opposite: long-form, in-depth financial videos that no one else was doing.
