Ever remember a time as a child when you took a simple cardboard box and cut out some holes for the eyes and mouth, and then put it on your head and in your imagination you became something or someone totally different? Well, that's the inspiration for BoxHeadz, a collection of hand drawn 32x32 pixel elements & characters that take their cue from ancient cultures, elements of past & future tech, the archaic and the arcane, themes of good and bad, as well as popular culture, and much, much more that is awaiting your discovery... BoxHeadz is the culmination of around 50+ days of work by myself, with the majority of the elements re-drawn on average 5 times each, due to improved styling/coloration, sizing and positioning. Many elements were thrown out never to see the light of day again, leaving the remaining elements that passed muster, resulting in a generative collection that has a possible 100 billion+ different and unique combinations (105, 577, 726,806... to be precise).
