The Agbogbloshie dump in Ghana is a result of the world's increasing demand for electronic equipment as consumers continually upgrade their devices and throw out older ones. FUTR E*SHCK is the first season by Alterrage, focused on bringing attention to the e-waste environmental issue. Electronic waste, e-waste, refers to all items of electronic equipment and parts that have been discarded as waste without the intent of re-use. The LTL (Larger than Life) Collection is a digital-only edition by Alterrage, made for avatars for all shapes and sizes. Each edition brings together a collective of designers to co-create rare and collectable pieces around an environmental call to action.
